Introduction: Myiasis, a pathological condition in which dipteran larvae infect and parasitise host, usually occurs tropical subtropical climate countries. Larvae can different parts of the human body. Intraoral myiasis is considered rare that associated with systemic, local environmental predisposing factors. Objective case report: This report describes systemically compromised patient expressive intraoral infestation causing pain, bleeding tissue necrosis. The was treated hospital environment under effects general anaesthesia. Treatment consisted removal larvae, surgical debridement use ivermectin. Final considerations: control hygiene conditions by family/caregivers dental care are determinant for prevention myiasis, especially patients defective self-care presenting dentofacial skeletal alterations make normal mouth closure impossible. disease to avoid potential complications, such as airway involvement, secondary infections sepsis.
